You don't need to switch settings manually. When JumpDesktop connects to the Mac, it will automatically use the right sound option. After a successful installation, two soundflower option should appear in the sound options menu. However after installing latest 10.13.6 (17G4015) with the right nVidia Webdriver (387.10.10.10.40.There should be a button to allow Soundflower to be installed. For the past 2 years this setup has worked flawlessly using the appropriate nVidia Webdrivers for Yosemite final version. The original Mac Radeon HD 5770 1GB has been installed next to it for those 2 years, enabling me to see the boot screen. I have had a (PC version, not flashed) EVGA GTX970 4GB installed for 2 years or so under Yosemite 10.10. I have a CMP mid 2010 5,1 that has just started having the Windowserver crash discussed here since I upgraded OS to 10.13.6 yesterday.

Why a non flashed GTX cannot display any picture through HDMI with the standard OSX driver ? VGA ok, i assume Display port is ok (i dont have a display port cable to test right now), but HDMI is nogo. As anyone found a way to prevent such a bug, which is quite f**king annoying to say the least !!! and probably related to nvidia driver as well. After some research i've found that quite some people has a random-kick-to-login issue. So i've tried to swap to the standard driver (OSX one) but it never ocured to me that when you are on the OSX driver your GTX cannot display any picture through HDMI. So i've opened the console to show what these crashs were all about, it appears to be related to NV driver (nvidia) *see pics* When it crashs, it forces quit all your applications displaying a sudden black screen and BAM! instantly kicks you to the login screen !!! any unsaved work is lost of course ! nice !
On bootcamp everything is flawless and games are stable and speedy.Īnyway here it is : right driver with the right HS version.

On my mac pro 5,1, i've swapped my 970 gtx (non flashed) with a 1060 GTX (non flashed) somethng like 3 weeks ago, but the nvidia web driver stayed the same 387.10.10.10.30.106 (pfffiiuuuu what a pain. Well a weird situation happened some days ago.
